TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. The Promotion (Weekly Draws and Daily Instant Wins) is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over excluding employees and their immediate families of Cadbury UK (the “Promoter”), agencies, associates or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion.
2. By taking part in this Promotion all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The opening date for receipt of entries is 15/04/2010 and the closing date for receipt of entries is 19/12/2010.
4. Proof of purchase required to participate. To enter, purchase a pack of Trident (Trident variants are: Trident Peppermint, Trident Spearmint, Trident Tropical Twist, Trident Strawberry, Trident Splash Strawberry Lime, Trident Splash Peppermint and Trident Splash Spearmint, (“Products”), visit the promotional website address www.tridentgum.co.uk, and enter the code on pack and all necessary details requested. Entry will then be logged to the Weekly Draw and Daily Instant Win within which the entry is received by the Promoter. Each single pack (including single packs in multipacks) will allow one entry.
You may register your details from 15/04/2010 until 19/12/2010 (“Promotional Period”). Any number of entries may be received for each Weekly Draw and Daily Instant Win during the Promotional Period. Each individual entry will be entered in the appropriate draw. All online activity will be monitored and any activity deemed to be abnormal by the Promoter will be removed from the draw.
5. Northern Ireland Residents: No Purchase Necessary. For the same chance of winning without purchase, send your name, address, email address, phone number and date of birth to FREEPOST SEA10736, Trident Perpetual Festival Promotion, Active House, 51 Wolsey Road, Esher, Surrey, KT10 8BR. Only one entry per day per stamped envelope, no bulk or third party entries. Entries received by first post Friday will be entered into that Weekly Draw. The closing date for No Purchase Necessary entries shall be 19/12/2010. Any No Purchase Necessary entries received from outside of Northern Ireland will be disqualified.
6. The winning entrant will be taken to be the person whose name appears in the internet entry. Prize winners’ names will be allocated to each pair of tickets. All guests must be 18 years or over. Photographic identification may be required to the event. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age of all winners and guests at their discretion.
7. If any winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and the Promoter may at its sole discretion draw a further valid entry as a replacement. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Promotion by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
9. Prize winners agree to abide by any additional terms and conditions notified to them by the management of any venue and the management reserve the right at their sole discretion to refuse entry and remove prize winners from the venue.
10. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries, where required.
11. All entries will be the property of the Promoter. By entering the Promotion entrants agree that certain of their personal information provided will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this Promotion or communicating with entrants. Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and subject to the terms of clauses 18 and 23 will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over any communications, networks or lines and accepts no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
13. Not including death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter or any fraudulent misrepresentation, the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
14. The Promoter reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value which includes an event at a different date or location. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs incurred as a result of any change to the prize.
15. Winners and their guests may be required to take part in related publicity. Film cameras may be present at the venue. By entering the Promotion all participants and guests consent to filming and sound recording which may include you as a member of the audience and its use in commercial distribution without payment and by entering into the Promotion and in consideration for being awarded the prize the winners and their guests waive all rights associated with their image.
16. With the exception of ‘No purchase necessary’ entrants from Northern Ireland, to be eligible to claim, the Promoter reserves the right upon request to require that any and all winners provide the original Product packs for ALL entries submitted during each Weekly Draw period. For example, if, during the entire Promotional Period, an entrant submits 10 entries and any one of these entries wins a prize, if the Promoter so requests, in order to claim the prize the entrant must provide Product packs for all entries.
17. Failure to provide Product packs for each entry to the Promoter upon request may result in an invalid entry (and, at the Promoter’s discretion, in all of the entrant’s entries being invalid).
18. The name and counties of the winners will be available between 20/12/2010 and 20/01/2011 on www.tridentgum.co.uk.
Weekly Prize Draws
19. There will be 30 weekly draws in total between 15/04/2010 and 4/11/2010 (“Weekly Draw”).
20. Each Weekly Draw will close on Wednesday at 11.59pm with the next draw opening at 12.00am (midnight). The final draw will be closed for entries at 11.59pm on Wednesday 10/11/2010. A random draw under independent supervision will take place within 72 hours of each weekly closing date.
21. All entrants will receive a confirmation on screen message notifying that their entry has been received.
22. The winners will be notified by email within 72 hours of the closing date of their Weekly Draw. For all draws made after 08/06/10 the prize must be claimed within 14 days of initial email notification. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact winners, however, if the prize is not claimed within such 14 days an alternative winner will be chosen and the original winner will forfeit any rights to a prize.
23. The prize to be won in each Weekly Draw is two tickets to that Weekly Draw’s festival including flights, transfers and accommodation (which may include camping) (“Tickets”). Details for each Weekly Draw prize will vary depending on that week’s prize festival. Full details of the prize will be forwarded to the winner after the draw had been made. All other associated costs and arrangements are to be borne by the prize winners and for the avoidance of doubt the Promoter accepts no responsibility for any such costs incurred for whatever reason including but not limited to the event being cancelled or postponed for any reason whatsoever. The Promoter shall not be obliged to rearrange an alternative event should any event be cancelled for any reason and accepts no liability for not doing so. The Promoter shall not be obliged to provide a chaperone should one not be available for any reason.
24. Weekly Draw prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other alternative will be offered in the event that the winner is unable to attend the event.
25. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to vary details of the prize or substitute a prize of greater or equivalent value should unforeseen circumstances require it.
Daily Instant Wins
26. There will be 585 prizes to be won in total between 15/04/2010 and 19/12/2010 (“Daily Instant Wins”).
27. By selecting the correct pack of Trident of the three shown in the Daily Instant Win game the player will win the prize shown in the pack. A message will appear on screen stating their prize. The Promoter will contact winners to arrange delivery of their prize. Should an incorrect pack be selected a message will appear on screen stating that the player has not won.
28. Daily Instant Win prizes shall be a random selection of festival-related items including, but not limited to, inflatable chairs, digital cameras, cinema vouchers, clothing vouchers and pop up tents.
29. Daily Instant Win prizes are non-transferable, non refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part. The decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
30. Where Daily Instant Win prizes are made up of vouchers they are valid for the experience or gift specified on the front of the voucher. The content of the experience or gift is as detailed within the accompanying pack. Vouchers do not have a direct monetary value. No cash alternatives will be offered.
31. Vouchers may not be resold without the permission of the Promoter.
32. All vouchers are valid for the number of people stated on the front of the voucher and/or in the accompanying voucher pack.
33. Vouchers may only be redeemed with the supplier(s) listed in the accompanying voucher pack.
34. Use of the voucher implies acceptance of these terms and conditions and those of the chosen supplier.
35. The information supplied in the voucher pack is correct at time of print. However the content or specification of an experience or gift is subject to change.
36. The information provided within the voucher pack is based on enquiries made by the Promoter and is believed to be accurate but the Promoter makes no warranty or representation in respect thereof.
37. No vouchers may be redeemed after the expiry date printed on the voucher.
38. No vouchers may be exchanged or returned after 28 days from date of issue.
39. Refunds will not be made for any vouchers that have been lost, damaged or defaced in any way.
41. The Promoter takes great care in choosing its suppliers. However, this does not mean we guarantee the safety or performance standards of any of our suppliers.
42. All Daily Instant Win prizes are subject to availability. Should a prize become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative brand / model of equivalent value and specification.
43. All prizes include delivery to mainland UK and Northern Ireland.
44. Please allow 28 days for delivery. Despatches will be made by an appropriate carrier and may require a signature on delivery. Any time or date specified for deliveries are an estimate only.
45. Any failed deliveries as a result of incorrect address supplied by the voucher holder will be charged to the voucher holder for the cost of return and redelivery of the item at prevailing rates.
46. Manufacturers’ guarantees are for domestic and private use only.

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open only to UK residents aged 18 years and over. Directors, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, management and employees) of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
3. To enter, entrants must join the Trident Perpetual Festival Fan Group on Facebook and post their picture of an arm T as a wall post on the Trident Perpetual Festival main page by the closing date.
4. The entrant must ensure that the wall post:
- does not contain any material which: (i) is offensive and/or derogatory, (ii) is of a explicit and/or sexual nature, or (iii) is defamatory, libellous, obscene, or (iv) is otherwise illegal;
- does not contain any material which violates any third party intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, copyright, trade marks, or any other proprietary or personal right); and
- does not contain any trade/brand logos or references other than incidental inclusion and/or relating to the Promoter’s products.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept and/or to remove from the website any materials in any entries the Promoter deems, at its sole discretion, at any time either not to comply with the terms as set out herein. If any element of an entry breaches these terms, the Promoter has the right to reject the whole entry.
